froze worse than polar vortex days, even though temp was supposed 28f it was dreadful, rode hard but never warmed up.

session was awful, i was tired, ornry because its so fn cold, my fingers were painfully numb, there were icy spots from the snow this morning, worst was the tons of debris from the hurricane on sunday, skis seemed super slow, poles wouldn't grab, and going up the small bump approaching barr rd hit a pc of frozen bark and fell over, felt a shot of pain going up the left side of my neck, decided that was enough and went back to van and decided to run on golf course........

took a couple minutes to get skis off and hokas on, goal was to sweat like a pig, took off running the perimeter of seneca gc, very comfortable footing, but very dark, felt good. so good things were my calf was fine, and i heard an owl which is always a good thing

Immediately after riding, started in happy days trails, turned back after 9 min, because of high winds, there was way to much tree parts falling.

in mill stream most on snow covered but packed mtn bike trail, some in woods which wasn't the best, calf miraculously ok, no problems at all, about 15 min of walking after 3 stretch stops

from seneca w jay, snowing! ,for a few minutes got pelted with ice pellets, down to brck, S on tow path to turnpike/271 bridges and back

Fn disaster, new path by my house , stinks, the drainage is pathetic, so there's frozen streams all over it, plus rocks dirt, sticks, you name it, had to walk alot to get around the glaciers, fell for first time, since so much walking it was really dark, just starting stride on left, front wheel hit a rock in middle of path, and promptly fell over

From seneca again, did go down hill to bridge over 77. It takes about 15 min or so to get used to skis then it's game on, lots of V2-ing today. Still a few icy spots that haven't fully melted yet

In brecksville, just hiked up down the valleys quickly, badly misjudged darkness, had a bit of moonlight which was cool. Calf perfectly ok

From top of hill in brecksville w/ Jay, down the hill to tow path and S, started sbowing when we hit the boardwalk and continued rest of ride which was pretty cool, turned around at 303 and back

Bike path had snow on it by home , so headed to hudson /stow, and luckily no snow from Barlow by the homes, went north to top of grade by brandywine falls, and back plus extra at the route 8 split, was really great, even though only 19f, had to peel off windbreaker then even switch to lighter gloves. Super workout

attempted to run at mill stream, felt really good except left calf got angry, stopped to stretch 4 times then 17min in felt the all to familiar bit of rupture pain, so shut it down and walked out, me thinks my running days are winding down.

at the Y, best i've felt swimming technique/endurance-wise, etc in long time. thank goodness didn't have to share a lane

From seneca, a few laps around parking lot to get acquainted with rollers then headed to bike path
back and forth between broadview and barr, took a good half hour to feel comfortable with skis, had to put on headlight for last 20 min or so, which was weird

Snow O at camp manatoc, tough going in the snow, some very sloppy navigation, missed 12the control, finished w/o punching , so went back out and redid 12,13, and go I think it added about 10 min. Really super exhausted at end
