15’ easy

Started with the warm up routine as per plan and also the hip mobility excersises (leg swings, hurdles and lunge matrix)

Out and back along the canal.

Set off the hip flexor felt tight but no pain and comfortable run. Whilst the hip flexor was tight it started and ended without tightening up further. Feel like the legs needed a little impact and nice to be outside. Overall happy as a starting point to getting back.

Re ran through the hip mobility excersises pre xt session.

Feeling good in the legs ticking over nicely and onto a good rythym. The time seemed to go fairly quickly.

Straight on to the bike. Zoned out with a podcast and let the legs spin over. Not felt the glute all day so really happy with it.

Still doing the daily strength excersises which felt good today. Stretched the hip flexors out post ride.

Started with hip mobility drills with the lunge matrix. Also did the hurdle set but just had to imagine the hurdle was there. Really concentrating on good technique for these drills.

Feeling good on the xt today. Legs feeling fresh and the resistance felt good but not too hard. alternated direction every 5' too.

The daily Strength and conditioning excersies felt good today and now feeling that I'm using my glutes and my form is much better than it was over week ago. Certainly feeling stronger.

Kept the session simple in structure and similar to last night alternating direction every 5’.

Started with the hip mobility excersises.
Feeling ok today with the legs feeling ok. No soreness from this morning treatment with Duncan. Still doing the daily strength routine and feeling much more confident that my glute is starting to fire.

mobility hip exercises to begin with.

Kept the resistance easy but the quads felt fatigued and a little heavy i think that this is probably as a result of the strength session this morning. The session seemed to drag tonight but just ket with it and tried to zone out to a podcast.

New routine today as per training plan.

Had the opportunity to add some weight today although kept it relatively low. The session was challenging but in a good way.

Single leg hip thrust felt tough but keen to perfect them now over time. First set of the power clean I used just the bar to practice the technique then added a little weight on the second set. Can tell I need to work on my technique for these. Overall a good session.

Hip mobility excersises to begin with and warm up.

Alternated between forward and backward. Legs feeling ok tonight no real soreness from the new SandC programme. The time seemed to flow fairly well.

Continued with the daily SandC and feeling much better with Swiss ball crunches and feeling that my glutes are active on glute bridges too.

Tried a run today started with some hip mobility excersises. Set off and could feel the glute was uncomfortable and could feel everything tightening around the area plus my hip flexor started to tighten too. Decided to stop as it was too uncomfortable.

The weather was too good to excersises indoors so opted to take the bike. got a flat tyre so had to quickly change the inner tube luckily i had a spare.

The legs felt good and got into a nice rythym never really felt fatigued. Overall an eventful ride but was nice to be out in the sun.

Gym closed for bank holiday only found out when I reached the door of the gym.

Without the gym did the new s and c back at home. I have a few dumbbells and kettlebells so just concentrated on form. The only thing o couldn’t do was the power clean.

Did the daily excersises first thing this morning.

Started with the lunge matrix and leg swings still need to work on my backward lunges but feeling ok.

The xt session felt fine legs feel fresh. Not felt the glute today and hopeful now to run on it.

Bike

Legs still feeling good after the xt session just alternated between sitting and standing broke the session up nicely.

Finished off with the daily strength and conditioning felt that Doms type soreness in my abs but felt fine doing the Swiss ball crunches.
