PR'd again, this time by 30 seconds from Wednesday, but I'm not really happy with it because I know I could've done better

They wouldn't let us run with watches for some reason, so idk what the climb was. However, the first mile and a bit was obscenely flat, like pretty much a track. I really wish I knew what my pace was there because I know I slowed down considerably on the hills in the woods.

Also, I got new shoes so hopeful my shins will stop hating me

Since it was pouring today, our original workout got derailed and we stayed on the track instead. We ran fast for 3 minutes then jogged for 3 minutes and did that 4 times with the last jog being a walk. Then we turned around and did it again in the opposite direction (so 8 fast, 6 jogging, and 1 walking for 3 minutes each).

I'm not going to write out all the times (unless you really want me too), but my fast runs ranged from 6:48 min/mile pace to 7:53 min/mile pace and my jogs ranged from 9:00 min/mile pace to 11:05 min/mile pace.

So this was a PR by 1 min and 20 sec from this weekend (note the amount of climb).

I am pretty happy with this time because I was aiming for under 27 minutes and I got under 26. Ironically, I was almost about to not run it because I feel fairly sick. My lungs are just not having it, but hey, apparently they're good enough, so I'm going to stop complaining.

Also, my shins felt fine in my spikes, so I think it's my shoes that's the problem
