Orienteering 41:40 [1] 2.69 km (15:29 / km) +131m 12:27 / km
shoes: Salomon Sense Ride Purple

Dale Park training - Graythwaite. Trying to understand the map and the contours and not get too lost which led to mainly walking/jogging around and stopping loads (managed to spike some controls and get completely lost in others, yay!). Beautiful and bumpy terrain!

Trail Running 22:26 [1] 2.92 km (7:41 / km) +69m 6:52 / km
shoes: Salomon Sense Ride Purple

The forest was asking us to jog back to the car doing a wee longer loop, so there we went, Fiina and me:)
(also, forgot Fiina's jacket in the tree at the start, oops, so back again + hill rep, wow, and again same wee loop back!)
3 PM

Trail Running long 58:28 [3] 10.54 km (5:33 / km) +298m 4:52 / km
shoes: Salomon Sense Ride Purple

The Lake District is too beautiful and an adventure was calling.

Joined Callum W and AlexB for an exploration of the terrain using an oldie map in Call's phone that made us doubt about our ori-skills in terms of path-track recognition, oops.

Cheeky 10k to get some "more than the guys" as Alex and Call suggested wherewith I was hating them at the beginning (and loved them at the end) as I was feeling a bit grim and tired (tired of what?).

These thoughts continued all the way up till the 5th km (maybe), struggling in the uphills so taking it smoothly bodyguarding their backs (maybe a lighter lunch would have helped, or maybe do more hill training too :P). Enjoying a looooot the downhills (oh yes, I was faster there) and continuing pushing in the ups and flat parts, I'll get there AlexB ;)

Nice adventure topped with a wee sprint with Callum to the house.

Very happy to be out after a few days off missing the fresh air. And my bike. :(

Easy loop around meadows and brunstfield with Lindsay - busy with uni and decided not to ruin myself after yesterday with intervals but still felt like going out for a wee bit

Swimming 1:30:00 [3] 3.15 km (28:34 / km)

I am so very happy with this! Have been looking forward to this session all weekend but since work is work I kind of let it for today, will see how my body is tomorrow, oops!

200 wu (free breast back)
1st set: 400-200-100-100 (30" rest)
(focusing on the kick and on the arms)
100 rest (breast back)
2nd set: 200 kick - 200 pull - 200 kick - 200 pull
100 rest (breast back)
3rd set: 50-150(oops I am not able to count)-200-300-200-100-50 (20" rest)
After the 300 I realized I did not have too much time left so let's say I just left the chill swim aside to make sure I could finish this.
100 wd (breast back)

This is the longest in distance and time I've ever swum in actually my life, and I am so very proud. Thank you a lot CoachB to make this happen!!

Note

As part of including this in training, I've been thinking in alternating one sesh with more kicking and other one with longer intervals¿?
