SOL 5 - Roseisle

Took me a bit to get used to the contours so started to #1 veeeeery chill (literally walking) to be sure where I was. #2 went too much south and almost got to the path, then just almost to the other path and then just a nice bearing to it. #9 I do not what I did with my bearing but just ended up in the big path, so added a few extra meters there and continued v nicely till I ruined #12 by searching for it in the wrong (previous) open area, meh. #14 just went to the next hill but realized very soon. Not super fast, but not big big errors, so overall I am happy with this one:)
The map was just reaaaally beautiful, and very nice forest to run and jig between the controls:)

Note

back home and revising the map again and again, so much more training to do, but at least I am happy with my orienteering, which it did not happen since a while ago; still some mistakes that can be improved but feeling that I knew where I was all the time, happy and v motivated to get the sessions done and get faster faster and faster! :)

Oh well. Nailed it the first one definitely (nope) - yeah well, sorry I do not know how to orienteer the map. Agg. Just do not like first legs. Well, so with this I just managed to loose all the group and just find Freya in the very end. Apart from that great start, the technical part was pretty ok (it is an ORANGE), till the end that I just went around the playground when the tree was just before, ay ay ay… Freya bet me in the run in, oh well. I rlly need to change my mind-thinking when competing and be more savageeeeee :P

felt quite okey on the first two (started second one a bit late as I did not realize about the watch starting). Third was just feeling quite slow and meh.
***First rep without music, second and third with an awful playlist (gotta create a good one as I am quite often running with it, and this one was just not the ideal).

took so long to go and did not feel that much to come back!

not feeling it. stopping quite a lot to decide where to go and before and after hills.
Up the crags through the short route (won't type easier cause I did shite), downhill (feeling my ankle quite sore till here, actually) then the small hill up Arthur (walked the stairs).
Got quite dark at this point so did not attempt to try Winny Hill (no headtorch), so just went downhill to St. Margaret's Lake (through the Short Hill Race path), then back all the way around Holyrood (clockwise) and home.
Not really feeling it uphill (neither flat, well). So much more training to do still, but at least one more sesh done.

felt my ankle quite sore all day so decided not to go to intervals:( instead a did some bouldering with Sab which I enjoyed a lot, day like this v needed
