New shoes! :D Steady Whirlow loop plus a little bit more at the end. Less than I hoped to do today but hey. Felt good even if I wasn't actually running that fast.

I felt like doing a tempo to the Norfolk Arms and back so I did; follow your dreams kids. Turns out I can't run fast even if I try, didn't even get a climb adjusted sub 4 min/km :(

Dark Peak Christmas Eve run from Hunter's Bar to Grindleford train station cafe. More effort than it should have been at that pace, just not really used to having a full (albeit only 8l) bag on my back. Very nice day though, loved hearing the ice shatter when I stepped on it :) Pleased to be one of the first to the cafe to get in the queue quickly!
