It was super cold and super foggy this fine morning at 8:30 am. Ran up and down the road to warm up for Orienteering race.

So I had a start time guage from 9-9:30 so when 9 passed I warmed up some more to get warm.

This went fantastic! Well...I messed up the first/second control because I went straight to the control but it didn't match my description sheet...turns out I had the wrong one. So not a navigational mistake. Otherwise this was a great race and very clean navigationally.

Basketball game against Eastside Prep where we won by 50 points. Had 20 minutes to warm up and get ready (yet another warm up for today). Then had an intense game despite the score, they weread so they played dirty.

Nice run to start the morning. My dad stole the treadmill so I decided to run outside, which although it was cold, felt great.

Had 30 minutes to warm up because the refs were 10 minutes late. Played most of the game and we won by 40. They weren't great for competition but they never gave up.

Short basketball practice today. We worked through our offenses and then ran some defensive and shooting drills. Pretty low key.

Played 2 quarters of the JV game and warmed up again for 20 minutes. I got some good baskets and played well. Can be a little frustrating to play with JV at times but they only have 5 players so 4 varsity kids had to swing down.

I'm reading this book on how exercise effects the brain and how morning exercise helps prepare you for the day....so I decided to go for a nice morning run.

Game against Bush, which we won. Played a lot in the first quarter. Got three fouls which is new for me but kind of cool bc they we're good. 20 min of warm up.

Woke up with some congestion and a slight sore throat. Hoping it stays slight. Had a good ultimate practice, did have to do sprints because we weren't focused enough. Got to play 20 minutes of scrimmage tho.
