9 AM

Basketball 1:00:00 [3]
ahr:117 max:163 rhr:61

A short practice to work on our offensive plays. A little less work than regular practice but still did some lines and full court drills.
11 AM

Running warm up/down 12:00 [3] 1.32 mi (9:06 / mi)
ahr:127 max:145 rhr:61 shoes: Brooks Adrenaline Gts 18 Runni

I felt really good for the first mile, super excited. After the first mile, my heart started to feel super heavy and my lungs felt like they weren't fully getting a breath in...fine, I'll take my inhaler...so I finish my run.
12 PM

Orienteering race 44:55 [4] 3.8 km (11:49 / km)
ahr:140 max:191 rhr:61 shoes: Brooks Adrenaline Gts 18 Runni

Well I went to get my inhaler and my dad had driven off with it in the car so that was an oof and I didn't get it until 1 min before I raced. So I panicked a little and I was ready having a hard time breathing. Started out running at my normal pace but I only made it to the first control before my lungs hurt, my eyes were watering, and I was coughing. And that was the entire race, most painful thing ever. So it was slow jogging and when I couldn't do that anymore walking...I didn't have enough air the entire race.
GOOD THINGS:
Always have to have a positive note! I ended up finishing despite what multiple people said on the course. No mispunching! Also the course was super easy, thanks to all my training and national races. Had great route choices and didn't get lost once. Sooooo, if I could've run faster it could've been a perfect course.
