Feeling pretty good about this one. Stomach was a little upset, kind of bloated/burping a lot. Went away once the race got going. Found myself behind one guy during the race and ended up closing the gap between in the last third of the race. By the last lap I was running as fast as I could but finished feeling like I could have gone longer. Push earlier and be more aggressive in the middle so I’m good and done by the finish. Had a guy out-kick me in the last 100m. Couple things to work on but happy with the result.

Relaxed for a bit after the 1500 and had a bite to eat. Was feeling real nervous for this, mostly to see how quick we’d go out. Got through the first 200 feeling pretty good but coming onto 3-400 I was feeling the heat. Remembered heather saying you just have to accept it and push at that point. By 500 I was going hard with my arms and had a couple little trips where my feet didn’t fully come off the ground. Just focused on rolling the legs and pushing the arms through on the last 100. Focusing on form definitely helped a lot on the last 200m. Was hoping the time would be a bit lower but glad I got the first one under me!

Decent run, foot and calf were a little sore. Stomach wasn’t feeling too great. Good strength routing, took it a bit easier for the races on the weekend.

R shin and L foot feeling pretty banged up. Muscles felt really good today, calf tight though. Monday loop was good and relaxed. Started really feeling the lactic acid in the legs at the beginning of set 3. Was a tough one today!

Very snowy and wasn’t feeling like working out. WU was rickety but the workout turned out really good. The transitions weren't hugely different, steadies were tough coming back in. Long stretch after. Ankles, shins, and knees not feeling the best.
