Orienteering race (Schools Score Champs BSSC) 35:48 [3] 6.94 km (5:10 / km)
shoes: Inov X-Talon 212

Good but annoying race. Finished with 10 minutes to spare which meant i couldve got at least the two i avoided as i was concerned about time at the time. 190 mid field but couldve been in top 10 if i had seen all the control (stupid map folding) and got those others but hey ho. Felt really good running yayayayya.

Got a call from Richard T and offered to go on a run. took me along the beach up a 1km hill kill me, through baycliffe and accross birkrigg. was at a slower pace than what i would've liked as i am quicker than rich but had to go at his pace lol. it wasn't an incredibly hard run.

WARM UP Rich T led us through some very moist areas

There were 3 loops, compass 5, 6 and 7. messed up 7 first time so did it again backwards at the end and nailed it, 1 mistake finding the finish on 6 and nailed all the controls on 5 perfectly and stuck to my plan, v happy.

Mr Iain sent me, connorjmo, merv n ellie to find some lost peeps, found them in the end but we all agreed they should have been left in the forest :)
