running 9:50 [4] 2.0 km (4:55 / km)

Felt better on the way back, but also it was downhill overall! 8.45 to start point, 9.50 back to my house.

Beautiful day so headed back up to N Wales and climbed Tryfan in the afternoon. Fairly leisurely pace but still required some fitness and strength in places! Knees hurt quite a lot on the way down and the next day :( Right worse than left.

BOC 2013 - Course 8 (W21L), 4th.

Brain not quite in gear - unable to make decisions quickly, very hesitant and just couldnt get moving on the first half of the course. Last couple of km felt a lot better but it was a bit too late by then.

climbing 45:00 [2]

Climbing at the Beacon - beginner course but there were only 3 of us and we once we'd run through the basics we actually got to do quite a lot in 2hrs. Started on easy stuff, best I managed was a 5c and got half way up a 6a. Next week!

Note
(rest day)

Enforced rest day - overnight in the lab.

Stomach been feeling a bit funny again - wonder if its a side effect of the antibiotics. But finish the course today so should be ok.
