Scottish Relay Champs
Took the path option to 1 but then missed the small gap in the green so lost 30s straight away just running too fast, fine in the circle etc tho. Then messed up 2 quite a bit with no bearing (idiot lol) just following a trod and then got lost. Slowed up after this focussing on the nav and spiked 3,4 and then small slip up in the circle at 5. 6 decent with another slip up in the circle at 7. Then fine through to 10 where I drifted right off my bearing losing time. Fine until the finish in a bit of a train with a few people. Beat them in though ;)

Scottish Champs - Achagour
Was pretty slow to 1 and then cocked up 2. Thought I'd crossed the big ride but I hadn't so was looking around in the wrong set of boulders, eventually realised and then faffed some more in the actual control circle. Bad start but was then shocked to see Pippa who set off 10 mins before me so that spurred me on a little bit. Steady to the rest, some with Pippa and some without, then both messed up 9 big time. Looking on bushes to the right but I quickly realised and went to the correct place but was on the other side of the small bush it was hidden behind so didn't see it and ran off, then we both found it after losing like 4 mins or something stupid on a tiny tiny leg lol. Was pretty disgusting green forest onwards but then I messed up 12 a little bit just being slow and about 30s lost in the circle.
Some nice bits but some ew bits, especially the gorse - ugh! Also, RIP Pippa who nearly died after a fight with a gorse bush xxx

Allerdale athletics champs (1500m)
Pulled out because Achilles started to play up with new shoes as they haven’t been broken in yet and when going up the slight uphill section the back of my shoe was pushing really hard onto the lump and it was very uncomfortable to run. Started dropping off the pack and just jacked it off because no point doing damage. So annoyed ugh.

LOC mass start
Achilles feeling better in these shoes thank god. Was fun in the mass start, just followed the train to 1 but made sure I knew my direction to 2. Charlotte had my 2 and just stayed behind her but then I took a bad route into the forest and lost sight of her and then lost ~30-40secs faffing around the crags. Leading some UVHS boys to 3 and saw a lot of people searching for this so joined in but lost a lot of time I think. 4,5,6 fine and then was just behind Harry to 7. Was in a group with Ellie and Harry to 8 and the long leg 9. Had a decent plan and stuck to it, behind Harry at the start but then got in front and spiked the control. Messed up 10 so ellie and Harry got in front through 10,11 and then we split on the gaffle. I was now solo and they had a group of 3/4 people (I think) which slowed me down a lot as I went from being confident in a pack to solo and they overtook me because I messed up 13. Scrambled to 14 and didn’t know exactly where it was going to be and then back to the finish along a ride hoping to see them and catch them. Too late by that point though, nice night but annoyed at the end. Needed more confidence in my own nav!
