shoes: Inov8 Race Ultra 270

Orienteering at Mount Albert. Ankle was a bit sore at times so walked bits.

Orienteering 1:49:25 [3] 10.0 km (10:57 / km)

Waikawa orienteering training. Running on the sand dunes was pretty tiring and I slowed down lots at the end because my ankle was sore. Knowing I was in the right place was a bit of a nightmare in the sand dunes with no controls out.

Running 2:00 [1] 0.3 km (6:40 / km)

Started running towards the car park for hill training. My ankle started hurting like it had just before I was injured in September last year so decided it was best to not do the training.

Biking 47:26 [3] 11.86 km (4:00 / km)

Biking to and from the library to look at the Lego exhibition and a few shops. Fairly easy.

Orienteering 15:34 [3] 3.17 km (4:55 / km)
shoes: Inov8 F-lite

Sprint course at Whitirea: Legs felt a bit tight, and had a couple of small mistakes.

Orienteering 9:35 [3] 1.97 km (4:52 / km)
shoes: Inov8 F-lite

Second sprint course at Whitirea: about halfway through started to feel really tired. Still managed to win by a couple of seconds though.

Running 1:09:00 [4] 9.12 km (7:34 / km)
shoes: Inov8 F-lite

Harriers: Warm up then drills followed by 2 x 2 minutes hard then 4 x 3 minutes hard. 2 minutes easy between each. At the end did 8 x 100 m on 60 s cycle, followed by a warm down and stretches warm down. The one time I looked at my watch doing the 100 m it was about 13s running fast, but not my fastest.
Felt pretty good throughout although had to stretch my hamstring early on and then just at the end my left calf started to feel a bit sore. The final 2 sprints felt pretty hard too.

Biking 9:01 [3] 3.99 km (2:16 / km)

Biking home on Ellie's bike. Raced to try be under 10 minutes, legs a little tired from running especially on the hills. Side note, her bike feels much smoother to ride.
