Strength & Stretch 30:00 [2]

Usual routine to Femme d’Argent, knee and cuff stuff too. Left hip lig sore/tight so the stretching and dynamic stuff helped.
Coach Natasha says don’t go running today, don’t push it!

Walking 1:20:00 [2] 5.0 km (16:00 / km)

Social walk with Sandra at ML, wearing boots and doing laps in the area. Distance is approx.
Weird pain in my left hip, outside - ITB issue? Seemed to crop up slowly. Maybe walking around the museum in mid-heeled boots for 2h this a.m. wasn’t such a good idea :(

Running 50:15 [3] 8.5 km (5:55 / km)
shoes: Asics Nimbus 19

Same loop to Broadview and back on LPLP. Slushy and sloppy in spots, but mostly clear

Classical Stretch 1:00:00 [3]

The usual, with the cuff exercises as well. Felt pretty good!

Running 30:07 [3] 5.0 km (6:01 / km)
shoes: Asics Nimbus 19

Great New Year Day run along the river to the birch tree and back. Bright sunshine, and pretty good footing on the crusty layer left after last night's 'snain' - a final gift from 2018! I shared a "Happy New Year!" greeting with 16 people along the way :)
The river is frozen and gorgeous, but boy howdy there was a cold N wind coming off of it!

Running 48:41 [3] 8.52 km (5:43 / km)
shoes: Asics Nimbus 19

Great run along Little Path, which was blissfully free of ice and snow. Ran out to Broadview and back. Negative splits all the way!
Perfect temp (-2 C), slight easterly wind, quasi-sunny. Pleasant last-day-of-2018 run :)

Classical Stretch 1:05:00 [3]

The usual modifications. Muscles felt nice and warm and stretchy.
