Boy, was this was a hot run. Started off very easy and gradually ran negative splits. The sun was beaming lasers! My left knee was a bit achy the whole time - around the front of the knee. I think all the weight-bearing activity of the past week, up and down stairs to boot, has taken its toll. I'm going to focus on stretching over the next few days, and maybe do some biking early in the morning before it gets too hot. Heat wave on its way!! Aaaaaaaaaggghhhh! (Buy beer. Keep it cold.)

Nice early morning 5km along the SJAMP after finishing report cards at 6:45. Wahoo! L calf a little tight at the start, but it loosened up quickly. What's with that side anyway? Must investigate that... NOTE: yesterday I did about 3h straight of cleaning out my lab and office - multiple, multiple trips down the 4 flights of stairs with big boxes of paper/garbage to the recycling bins outside. Then running back up the stairs. That was some weights/running interval workout!! I was tired last night, all right. Great sunny morning, 14 degrees C. Karen and I exchanged "Hello!"s at around 3.5 km. :)

Major gardening work, with clombing to clip the hedge, tons of clipping, weedend, etc. Lots of dynamic stretching, which was good after the brick workout in the morning. A vigorous stretch of continuous yard work!
