Very hard run today. Felt slow and fat... Just couldn't get into it. Had to stop to admire the river for a minute or so at the 10 km mark. Weather was good for running ( cool, overcast, damp) but I just couldn't get into the groove. Maybe it was the wine and pizza last night that did me in? Legs felt like lead.

All exercises, including dynamic stretching for the hamstrings. Found this session hard work, as I'm still not feeling well and have a huge overall lack of energy. Off to bed by 8:30!

Early morning knee exercises and wee stretch.

Running intervals 51:27 [4] 9.0 km (5:43 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel-Kayano 22

2 km warm up to head of S-loop, then 8 x 500m on 3:30; finished each one in ~2:30 and jogged the recovery minute. Alternated direction kn each one. Then had a brisk 2 km run home (~5:30).
Felt great, and seemed to have recovered from yesterday's sick stomach feeling.

Great brisk run along the river. Light rain, cool temp. but perfect for capris and a t-shirt. Very meditative, quiet since not one bike on the path. Great!
The miles went by easily and quickly :)
