Bouldering 1:00:00 [3]

Momentum before the school run and work. Quite a few new routes up that I liked.

Orienteering 57:16 [3] 8.28 km (6:55 / km) +139m 6:23 / km
ahr:146 max:161

Another steady race. No huge mistakes...this isn't normal. Even wetter and colder this morning.
1 wrong control. 20 secs.
8 stupidly followed stream. 1min.
9 took the path. Ankles had taken too much thorn so needed some respite.?
12 too far right. 30secs.
15 exited too far right out of 14. 30secs.
17 ran to wrong control. Knew it but saw it first!! 30secs.
Total 2mins 50secs. Don't know winning time.
Really happy, especially with the compass work.

Orienteering 1:03:45 [3] 9.12 km (6:59 / km) +136m 6:30 / km

Map, course, everything, but the weather, was fantastic. It helped having a decent run. First race in what felt like months. Started slow and steady. No real warm up. I was just trying to stay alive it was so cold. Happy Kendal got out too. Went to look for her at the end. Thought she was lost, but nope, she was just ambling along in her own time. I felt the Yellow was very, very difficult.
Controls 1-4 just steady.
5 parallel error. Realised as I approached the track. 1min.
6 exited 90 degree error. But ultimately this helped me a tad. 3 mins.
9 too high hit middle of pond. Wanted to hit dam. 1min 15secs.
10 not the quickest route choice, but needed a breather from terrain and get a plan together. To the path to the right and cut in just before the junction. ??
16 saw the streamers for the White and got distracted. Bore left too much 30 secs.
Shoelace was undone last 6. Very loose running.
Time lost 5mins 45secs. Don't know the winning time.
No huge mistakes made this much more fun. A rare event.

Travel Day. What miserable weather up North!

Climbing 1:00:00 [3]

@ Climb 59 with the girls. These are long routes. Not difficult. 10B would be 9+ at TRG and Inspire. (Although the 10C's upwards look very daunting). Fairly tired by the end and ravenous. Curry was the ultimate recovery food.

Running 40:01 [3] 8.08 km (4:57 / km)
ahr:138 max:163

Treadmill 6x3mins @Threshold. Was going to bail on this as the knee was excruciatingly painful this morning. Rolled the patella out and felt bearable. Probably should have pushed this a tad harder. Felt like I'd left quite a bit in the tank after.

Bouldering 1:00:00 [3]

Took the bairns and Martin to momentum. The plan was to rollerski today, but the knee hurts and I was just too tired. Shuffled some stuff around for the weekend.

Running 1:10:31 [3] 14.49 km (4:52 / km) +19m 4:50 / km
ahr:146 max:165

20mins @ Threshold (2.84miles). Absolutely knackered. Shoulders felt like I'd been pushing a barrow around all weekend.
