Early start for today - planned the courses at the Welsh League event on Llechweddgain but I couldn’t get the controls out yesterday so I was checking they were all out in the right places this morning. Felt like I was focussing a bit weakly on the details and definitely could’ve held the focus better on some of the legs - finding that it’s quite easy to lose concentration without the pressure of a race.

Leg 4 for Eryri Harriers. Excellent running for the most part - great course and feeling really good overtaking people all the time.

Paper wristband holding my dibber ripped off n I only noticed a little afterwards so spent a few minutes in panic going up and down looking for my dropped dibber. Worked out from my Garmin Connect pace that I lost 2:54 putting my time to 40:47 - a pretty solid result putting my 4th overall on leg 4.

Really pleased with how I was running n how I was still pushing even though there was no pack or anything. Looking good for my training :))

Lush one out in the sun over to Denbigh on the gravel track. Taking it pretty easy for the weekend n not feeling too bad.

Long one out to Rhuallt and the A55 and back by Tremeirchion. Fair amount of climb for this route and it’s a good one to keep doing on the roads. Didn’t finish off the week well last week so making sure it’s better this time.

Moel-y-Parc on a good loop. Solid run and feeling okay but a bit tired on the downhill. Took an uphill segment n am pretty much finished getting all the segments on the hill now ;)

Normal recovery run at home - working before school so no run in Chester. Fine with the torch and keeping at a good pace without even looking at my watch or pushing it so feeling quite alright rly
