Climbing so high on such a short race killed me in the first few controls and then was very hesitant at 5 which lost me a good bit of time. Looking forward to coming back to the area for a DEE summer league but a pretty decent turnout for an ERYRI event anyway :)

Did a little work on the bike again so I could listen to the audiobook of the book I'm studying at school ;) Did a little warming up on the lower gears before doing the majority of the 30 at the highest gear.
More, shorter intervals today trying out to see which session works best for me. Did 7 x 270 - 300m approx. intervals at paces from 2.53/km to 3.23/km with all but two below 3/km.
