Bad concept for #2 - the splits show a poor time. Somehow in my mind staying 2 contours up seemed to justify contouring around that valley;-) Should have dropped down and run across. (on the other hand, I've done that plenty of times before, so this was a good lesson)

Had a better time crossing the swamp from 10 to 11 than I thought - I wanted to find the trail, but missed it. Ended up getting to a narrower area and cutting through - did ok.

Happy the ground was firmer than I might have imagined.
