Overall, it went decently.
Here is my course, point-by-point, on a scale of one to five. One is bad. Five is awesome:
#1: 3/5. Traveled slowly to get used to the map and avoid mistakes.
#2: 2/5. Misread the contours and ran up a ridge instead of a re-entrant. This cost me maybe 40 seconds.
#3: 3/5. Ran too far to the south when I was nearing the control, But fixed it quickly. Cost me ~10 seconds.
#4: 5/5. Ran right to it.
#5: 3/5. Traveled very slowly in the first half to make sure of where I was, but afterwards ran right to it.
#6: 5/5. Ran right to it.
#7: 5/5. Ran right to it.
#8: 5/5. Navigation worked really well.
#9: 5/5. Very pleasing, ran right to it.
#10: 2/5. This control could have taken less than half the time if I had seen the trail leading to it, and taken the trail. Instead, I trashed through some vegetation until I noticed the trial and had to go the wrong direction to get to it.
#11: 5/5. Ran right to it.
#12: 4/5. Ran too far to the west near the end, but it worked out.

Quick hike up Little Mountain; mush faster than I expected. 33 minutes up, 12 minutes down.

Note

The hamstring in my left leg has been painful since Wednesday, but not hindering enough for me to want to log it as an injury. I do think it has potential to become an overuse injury, though, so I've been taking Ibuprofen and icing my leg.
