running 1:40:00 [3] 19.0 km (5:16 / km)

Long easy run, except for the last 2km along the aquaduct heading home.
Rather scenic run with Will, Aston, Pat ,Anni, Angus and Pete on the bike, stopped a few times to either take speccy pics or figure which way to go, had to bush bash a bit between paths. Fun! and a much needed long run, thanks to all.

Deeks quarters up at Falls Creek, bizarre place to run intervals but supposedly tradition!
8x 400m with 200m float (fast!) along a rough aquaduct track with over 100 other runners. Rather crazy but great to be part of it, what the running week is all about, being a part of it.
warm up and a longer warm down with 9mins of tempo pace

scenic easy run to the top of closest high point, brilliant view, with Will, Pete and Pat

Day 5 of Christmas 5day, started 500m from the Balanglo hut, another really good day of orienteering, great area, reminded me of Czech. Made the biggest mistake on the last control, oopsie- must have turned brain off, I just followed others in to the wrong termite mound. Felt slow and tired but good. Then headed for a day trip into Sydney with the crew and a beautiful and well worth it ferry trip through the harbour.
