Running - Road / Track (mostly road, w/backpack) 3:50:00 intensity: (2:10:00 @1) + (1:40:00 @2) * 23.0 mi (10:00 / mi) +975m 8:50 / mi

I ran to scout controls for SFND then ran back to the Farrah house from Millbrae BART. It was another beautiful day to be outside in the city. As usual, starting and stopping running again and again over several hours was tiring, as was the climb and the sheer distance.

I ran up Conejo/Larkspur to the Sawyer Camp Trailhead, ran the dirt trail up to Hillcrest, continued North on the paved trail for a few hundred meters (to the bend where the road goes underneath), retraced my steps to the Sawyer Camp Trailhead, ran down to the 1 mile mark and back, and ran home via Frontera. My legs felt pretty good once they got warmed up.

I ran around San Francisco scouting controls for San Francisco Night & Day. My legs were somewhat tired, especially after stopping to make a control description and question. It was a gorgeous day in the city.
