Shovelling snow, as the landlords are ill. Despite being 0C, still sweated as much as in a 10K. Living on a corner means there's ~4x as much sidewalk to clear as neighbouring houses.

Lots of fresh snow up at Cypress! But it's warm enough that the consistency is "mashed potato" rather than "powder". Very tough going, and even the pros in the TRIUMF group were struggling by the end.
Definitely improved my technique in deep snow, then lost all technique as my legs stopped doing what they were asked. Quads are in significant pain. I am barely able to walk.
The lab closed early today due to snow. I interpreted this as meaning that we should go outside and enjoy it. Many others seemed to just get in their cars and go home???
Lovely run through a very quiet Pacific Spirit, rocking an awesome combination of short shorts and long socks. Sadly not quite cold enough to grow beardcicles.
A George Pugh special on a retro map of Kerrisdale. Featured a vague map, mildly misplaced controls, head-height fences marked as passable, and controls at the tops of stairs. Never a dull moment in a George race!
Took it relatively easily as I didn't warm up properly due to chatting too much.
