Run (Long) 1:21:52 [3] 13.05 km (6:16 / km) +1275m 4:13 / km
ahr:164 max:188

A long run with some exploration. I ran quite quickly as well, I wanted to really get out there and have a good run. My run was a bit longer than the gps says, it cut out a bit. Still, it was far, fast, hilly and enjoyable.

Orienteering 1:06:15 [3] **** 8.31 km (7:59 / km) +586m 5:54 / km
ahr:160 max:188

A good training on a map with only curves. The terrain was actually very open and runable, which made the curves much easier to use. The course was still tough, as some spots had a complicated contour picture. I had fun, I kept the pace a bit higher than I normally do which made the experience even more entertaining. I was also happy to be able to plan my route choices well, I never left the control without a plan. Overall, a very fun and valuable training in good terrain!

Orienteering 1:03:16 [2] 8.29 km (7:38 / km) +323m 6:23 / km
ahr:143 max:172

There was a map, I didn't really look at it too much. We ran as a group and made our own route choices to the control, most of which were along the trails. I made some silly route choices for the sake of being silly, and I didn't pay too much attention to the technical aspect of it. I treated it was a social and entertaining run, and in that sense it was a good training and a good time.

ahr:156 max:175

A local race, pretty short race but it took a while. The technical part went fine, but I need to get my headlamp fixed. I don't feel like I'm getting enough information to make decisions quickly enough, so I end up having to stop. I should fix my headlamp.

Strength Training 30:00 [3]

Strength training after the club run. It was a nice social activity and the training was good. Lots of focus on core and ankle strength. My legs are gonna hurt tomorrow.

Run 1:10:53 [2] 11.52 km (6:09 / km) +510m 5:02 / km
ahr:140 max:164

Headlamp was about to die at the start, so I had to ditch the pack and run alone. I stayed along lit paths and roads, so it was a bit boring. But I tired to keep the pace relatively high which made it more engaging and entertaining than running alone typically is. So overall, a good workout but I need to get a proper headlamp for once.

Run intervals (Hill) 45:34 [4] 8.27 km (5:31 / km) +519m 4:12 / km
ahr:166 max:189

Hill intervals alone today, didn't want to get downtown to the public intervals, so I did them by myself. I altered the hill intervals I've previously done, I ran a few meters on flat first before starting up the hill. When i got to the top, I only gave myself a few seconds break before jogging back down to the start again, where I started running as quickly as possible. I think this gives me a mix of both flat and incline running, and the lack of a break made it easier for me to keep going. The jogging back down the hill acted as a break. Not sure if the distance is too long, making the break too long. I made me tired though, so it was a successful workout.
