Run race (Long) 2:09:53 [4] 24.97 km (5:12 / km) +639m 4:37 / km

Svalandsgubben, a (supposedly) 27km trail race. I felt very good to start with, I was passing people and had an overall higher pace than the last time I ran. However, I wasn't properly prepared for the cold. Running in the forest wasn't bad, but the open fields made the wind bite my bare arms. I was really tired towards the end of the race, and running downhill on hard surfaces really made my legs hurt. I should make sure that I'm prepared for the cold weather and to manage my energy better to make sure that I have some left for the end of the race. Overall, a really fun experience with lots to learn from.
P.S. Post race I feel fine, a little sore but not too bad. The worst part is my knee, which was involved in a fall.

A run before the race tomorrow, checking that my body is ready to go and a small reset. I felt a bit low on energy when I ran, but I believe that it was due to a smaller consumption of food due to less overall exercise. I am excited for the race tomorrow, it should be fun!

Going to take this week pretty relaxed, just ran close to 19km O-race and going to run 27km trail race this upcoming Sunday. Figure that since I'm already pretty tired I should make sure this next race doesn't kill me.

Strength Training 25:00 [2]

Mostly balance, core and "lower leg" workouts. Don't remember the workout exactly, I just followed along with the coach.

A run with some club members, lots of talking and fun. I felt pretty tired after the long run on Saturday, pains in my left hip and some general tiredness in my legs. Need to take another rest day before the coming race.

A run with Lily, pretty short and relaxed. It wasn't too fast or too slow, a nice recovery race.
