SLR down to Haslingfield. Felt great throughout although not good enough to jump onto the ackland train when they passed me as they went out for a half marathon - thought I might have been accused of overdoing it.

Oh boy that was a grind. Had to properly convince myself to even start and then looking at the watch 1k in showed that this really was gonna be a slow burner.
Actually picked up the pace after this but then of course it started to next level piss it down - biblical levels till the end of the sesh. That, coupled with the driving wind, meant that this was basically one big mental battle - but I'll consider that battle won

5k TT round west cambridge - part of a virtual race kinda thing I'm not really sure. Got insta dropped by ewan but actually after a k the gap stayed and then acc started to drop. Decent route and great surface but was very windy which wasn't ideal - also had a flight of steps to jazz it up.
Wanted to see what 3:20s would feel like and this felt decent throughout and even at the end I felt fine.
Seem to be doing all my fast running with someone of a similar speed out front for motivation - I'd strongly recommend you hire someone to do this as well - very helpful

Gonna be a bit of a funny week training wise with firstly some actual orienteering and also the prospect of a semi serious 5k TT so am not gonna session tomorrow and will instead do fast O, then Thursday T and then a Sat sesh
