To muiravonside via the gorge, some time killing loops and then a control collecting loop after a very soggy event before back home again.
Turns out carrying 11 controls is quite hard.
Also got ambushed by a nice and hyper efficient lady to do a sustrans survey about cycle paths about 500m from home. Yep, what a mental day- one to tell the grandkids

Basically decided that trying to train when I get home (at 6) is a futile cause so did this as a trial run for before school training.
Bit dark and lonely but good training and will defo try and set this as a regular in the winter.

XC at Inverleith.
Packed it with Andrew and the two other regulars for the first lap and a half before splitting- held onto 2nd.
Insanely hot for October- like 21 degrees wtf - still not complaining tho perfect weather
