2nd leg men’s premier (FVO second team)
Set out well by will. Posted a naughty time to the startkite cos dad was asking for a race and I duly obliged and smashed him.
Running alone for pretty much the whole race, orienteered well for the most part just a few little misses.
Finished well before handing over to Lewis- think we finished 11th which is pretty decent I’d say.

1st!

Set off with a fat route round to #1, dropping a 3.36mins/km first km to get things going. Died a death to 3 and had a ~45sec overshoot to 4.
Think my routechoice to #8 was fine but did slightly overshoot #11 and #13 but nothing major really. Taking good bearings.
Surprised and delighted with the win, but just made sure to keep the pace up, stay focussed and the rest fell into place nicely
