Orienteering race 2:00:00 [5]

Ran M-20 at the Falls Classic. I believe my poor performance all boils down to not being mentally prepared to orienteer. I made major route choice mistakes, and that combined with the extreme elevation increase killed me.

PT 45:00 [2]

Worked out with the PT team this morning.

Started out with lifting focused on tri's and chest. Then did several sets of non-stop sit ups and push ups, feeling the improvement.

Running 45:00 [3] 5.5 mi (8:11 / mi)

Ran for a bit with the cross country team.

Ran 2 miles out at 7:20 pace. Then did three hilly 800m intervals under 2:50, then 2 miles back at an easy jog.

Orienteering race 1:15:00 [4] 9.0 km (8:20 / km) +100m 7:54 / km

QOC's dog bone style score-O. Very different then any other orienteering event I've done thus far.

Finished in first with 24 out of 26 controls. I was very happy with my compass use and leg simplification which helped in the complex trail network and uneven contours.
