Orienteering (Red course) 1:10:25 [3] 4.36 mi (16:09 / mi) +558ft 14:24 / mi
slept:6.0 shoes: Salomon Speedcross (2017-Navy)

Yay -- this went MUCH better than last night. (Although my legs felt sore & tired...)

I lost track of where I was as I got close to #8, but otherwise I'm happy with this. Nice weather for running (overcast), and a fun course.

Orienteering race (Night-O) 1:37:54 [3] 4.96 mi (19:44 / mi) +687ft 17:27 / mi
slept:6.0 weight:112.8lbs shoes: Salomon Speedcross (2017-Navy)

Sigh... Too bad my orienteering skills weren't up to par to match my fancy new headlamp.

Bobbled #1 and #2 (no reflector on #2 but I think it had more to do with my bad navigation).

#3-4-5-6 OK.

HUGE, time-wasting, wandering error on #7. Looks like I was on a beeline to it until I thought I had gone too far and started to wander. Ugh.

#8-9 OK.

Blew it again on #10.

#11-12-13 OK.

A fun course, but I wish I had done better.

------

I still hate camping, but it was tolerable.

Ran out of time to get in a run today. :-\ Spent about 90 minutes filing a police report and then getting new license plates for my car (one had fallen off -- I'm 99% sure it just fell off and was not stolen, but DMV still required me to get the police report...).

And then -- all the usual meet-prep work, times four (1-training list & fees; 2-camping list & fees; 3-Night-O list, fees, OE2010 files & start cards; and 4-Sunday list, fees, OE2010 files & start cards). Along with data entry for membership renewals, data entry for annual waivers, and lots of email follow-ups.

Feeling exhausted and headache-y.
