"Wild Goat" at Florissant Fossil Beds National Momument. Perfect weather -- no rain and not too hot. I signed up for all three loops, but it was pretty steep and I was pretty slow -- so I only completed two loops.

Loop #1: I skipped #2. I aimed off a bit too much on my way to #4 (I think I misinterpreted which spur I was on). The remaining controls were fairly easy.

Loop #2: I skipped #9. I stayed on my bearing and in contact with the map for most of the long leg to #11, but then I misread some rocks and totally blew it -- wasted about 20 minutes. Finally relocated myself at a cliff near the fence. The rest went OK.

Fun overall.
