Troy and I discovered why Chatfield is not known as a mountain biking mecca. To put it bluntly -- it kinda sucked. (Deep sand, narrow trails rutted to 10-12" deep, encroaching vegetation on both sides that was very scratchy, etc.) We had hoped to do a loop, but we had to turn around when the trail dead-ended at a deep, mucky beaver pond. At least we put on some miles...and that's the only good thing I can say about it. :-P

Still sick, but I was able to get about & about.

- Ordered new running shoes at Runners Roost with my LoCO discount, and then bought some fancy treats as a dog / housewarming gift at the pet store next door.

- Had a lunch salad and watched my former flute teacher perform (with piano accompaniment) at Moxie.

- Neighborhood walk (with Serial 2-06).

- Went to a college friend's housewarming party with awesome red beans & rice, biscuits, and beer. (And a nice new dog.)
