Hike at Castlewood Canyon State Park (free entry today), with Troy.

It was FREEZING (~20 degrees) and I wasn't super excited to go -- but we warmed up once we started, it was fun, and I was happy to burn off some of yesterday's extra calories.

We saw some wild turkeys near the trail. They were making a very cute warbling noise.

I haven't run or jogged since the weekend of the Coal Creek 10-Miler and Rocky Mountain Goat -- almost three months.

I went to Davidson Mesa today and felt r-e-a-l-l-y out of shape. I jogged one mile, walked one mile, jogged one mile, walked the rest.

On the bright side -- no foot pain whatsoever, so I guess it was beneficial to take so much time off.
