Jogged two laps at Davidson Mesa. The bright side of that trail being so miserably hot on most days (no trees, no shade), is that it dries out amazingly fast after rain or snow. There was some smelly standing water off-trail in some places, and some areas of bad erosion damage, but it was totally dry.

I've had to spend the last two weeks putting in OT at work, to get caught up again after taking a week off for Laramie Daze. In other words, until today, I haven't done any running since the week before Laramie Daze. :-| So much for my half-marathon training plan.

I thought about skipping my planned race (next weekend) in favor of something in October, but then I saw the race shirts and finisher medals and knew I didn't have a choice. I may have to walk some of it, and I'll definitely be in "just happy to finish" mode, but I registered anyway.
