"HEROES in Recovery" 6k race in Louisville. I wasn't really racing, just running (I entered since it was close to home). I may have some talents and abilities, but speed certainly isn't one of them. Even the guy dressed in the prairie dog costume passed me. ;-)

Canyoneering at Cheesebox Canyon near Blanding, UT.

- Three-mile hike from the truck to the top of the canyon.

- Three-mile walk / scramble / rappel / down-climb / swim through the slot canyon, with the last bit in a thunderstorm (not what you want in a slot canyon...). Once we dropped down into the canyon, it took us six hours to go the first ~1.5 miles.

- We left the car at 9:00 am and got back at 9:00 pm, just as it was getting dark. It was a l-o-n-g day.
