- Four laps of the Via Appia / Pine / Polk / Rec Center hill loop. We were supposed to really push on the uphill portion, but my left achilles tendon was twinging and I didn't want to risk making it worse.

My assignment was to do six miles at a comfortable pace. This was very comfortable (read: slow). Perfect weather. Unfortunately, it won't be long before running at 2pm at Hidden Mesa will mean borderline heatstroke... :-P
