I was the only one who showed up today (out of the three of us). So, I basically had a private lesson. The instructor and I played a few of our pieces at their intended tempo, which was a wake-up call. :-P (We've been playing everything very slowly when the younger girls are there.)
Warm-up: dynamic stretching, two rounds of push-ups x 10; and two rounds of double-unders x 15 / 8" box jumps x 15 / row 150m.
Squat-clean and deadlift warm-up.
For time -- "Carse": 21-18-15-12-9-6-3 reps of
- Squat clean 95 lb. / 65 lb.
- Double unders
- Deadlift 185 lb. / 125 lb.
- Box jump 24" / 20"
- Start each round with a 50 meter bear crawl.
Ideally, this workout was supposed to be completed in ~25 minutes. I scaled big-time: I skipped the 21x round, I shortened the bear crawls, and I used 45# on the squat-cleans and 65# on the deadlifts (except for the 18x round, where I used 65# and 85#). And it still took me 42:30. Ay caramba!
