Run / Hike 1:23:53 [3] 4.19 mi (20:01 / mi) +820ft 16:53 / mi
slept:4.0 weight:127lbs shoes: Adidas Supernova Sequence 2

This started off as a line-O training course on the southern half of the Devil's Thumb map, courtesy of Acampbell, but I realized pretty quickly I wasn't up for the steep climbs. I had also made the mistake of wearing shorts, and the scratchy brush was making me crazy.

So, I decided instead to bail out and do a trail run. And by "run" I mean my usual glacially-slow jog. On the latter part of the loop I eventually met up with Sverre and Alison, who had also decided to head in due to the fading daylight. So, I jogged in with them. We picked up Leif and Alison's friend Josh at the start / finish trail junction, then jogged another half-mile back to the parking lot. FUN!

I hadn't been to the gym since all the fires started last week. The USFS hangar is right next door; it was interesting to see all the air tanker activity this afternoon.
