I tried a new trail today, in Boulder near Eldorado Canyon: Doudy Draw / Springbrook Loop.

There wasn't any shade for the first two miles, and those first two miles were also all uphill. So, I had to stop and walk for about a quarter-mile at the top. I think I could probably eventually do the whole thing without walking -- especially if I could ever drag myself out of bed early enough to beat the heat (94°).

- Jump-rope, dynamic stretching & squats to warm up.

- Snatch technique work. I only got up to 55#.

- For time: 21 - 15 - 9 reps of overhead squats & burpees. Rx'd weigt for women was 65#; I used 55#. 9:00.

- 5 x 5 pull-ups.

This was somewhat miserable -- partly because it was 97° with no shade whatsoever, and partly because my hamstrings are ridiculously sore from Friday's CrossFit workout.

I jogged / shuffled 3.25 miles (44:49) and then walked the last half-mile or so (12:28).
