Too much work and not enough sleep this week... And, I'm incredibly sore -- it hurts to move!

  • Jumprope & dynamic stretching to warm up
  • Two rounds w/ 35# bar to warm up and work on technique: overhead squats x 5 / snatch balance x 5 / hang power snatch x 5 / kipping pull-ups x 5.
  • For time -- seven rounds w/ 45#:
    - hang power snatch x 7
    - snatch balance x 7
    - overhead squats x 7
    26:30 -- not only the slowest in the class, but the slowest of the entire day. :-P

  • Row 500m and dynamic stretching to warm up.
  • 10 push-ups, 10 squats and some plank things to warm up.
  • Two sets: 6# overhead medicine ball throws x 10 / 6# underhand medicine ball throws x 10.
  • 20-15-10 reps of 6# wall balls.
  • Technique work and warm-up on deadlift.
  • For time: 7,000# of deadlift. I did 83 reps at 85# (30-12-15-15-11), 5:46. Janelle (co-owner of the gym) did 83 reps at 85# in 1:49. Wow.
  • Rest five minutes.
  • As many burpee/pull-up reps as possible in two minutes. I did 18 (with jumping pull-ups).
