Tonight was the last meeting of the Strength Training for Runners class for this session.

  • Jog three laps to warm up.

    We only did two killer planks, which messes up my usual way of listing stuff in rounds of three, and I'm not sure I'm remembering everything in the right order...

    I'm thinking I probably won't renew for the next session in March. Driving into Boulder is a pain for such a minimal workout (since we have so many subs). And, games as late as 11 pm don't help my insomnia problem. I'll miss the other girls on the team, though...

  • Three sets of (high knees / butt-kickers / bounding / high-skips / hops x 12 / modified push-ups x 20)

  • Three sets of (24" box jumps x 10 / 60-second ab things)

  • Three sets of (rocket jumps x 12 / scissor jumps x 12 per leg / skate-jumps x 12 per leg / reverse crunches x 25)

  • Jog ten laps to cool down.

    I also decided to do three sets of pull-ups x 5, with 50 pounds of "assistance".
