Troy and I had planned to go climbing again today, but the ripping howling wind changed our plans (up to 40 mph gusts all day long -- miserable). We stayed indoors and played Scrabble...

Davidson Mesa again -- I was able to eke out the whole loop before it was totally dark. Once I realized I had a slightly-faster-than-usual pace, I tried to maintain that throughout, by concentrating on a consistent cadence (I guess "turnover" is the appropriate term when jogging). I ended up about two minutes faster than when I did this loop on Saturday.

We lost 8-6, but it was still a good game. I think we could've won if our goalie had been able to make it. I scored one goal (which doesn't happen often in "real" games). I didn't feel as out-of-shape this time.

Lunchtime soccer with perfect weather and a small field of players. I scored one good goal, had a few near-misses, and had a few awful shanks. Lots of running...whixh I need.
