Set up anchor, rappell down, ascend the rope, and then rappell down again. Troy did a few more laps than I did.

Another game where only a fraction of our players decided to show up. WTF?

Soccer intervals (indoor) 30:00 [3]

We won 9-6. Woo-hoo!

Run / Hike hills 50:42 [3] 3.56 mi (14:15 / mi)

Since I was already in Boulder and there was plenty of daylight, I decided to go for a run at the Mesa Trail / Shanahan Ridge after our soccer game. There was a "cold front" moving through, so it was pleasantly cloudy and breezy (especially as compared to the 100 degree weather we've been having lately).

Out for a few hours with Troy and Coco at Castlewood Canyon. Our original plan was to do some rock climbing and practice techniques from our recent canyoneering class. But, our usual route to get to the base of the climb was so ridiculously overgrown that it was impossible to get to. In addition to the thick brush, there were patches of poison ivy everywhere. So, we basically just took all our gear for a two-hour hike... In the midst of our bushwhacking, we came across a family of five who had accidentally taken a faint social trail into the middle of all that nasty brush. They were REALLY lost. We helped them find their way out.
