We needed a few extra players, but I'm not sure I understand the logic of adding SIX (when there are only five on the field at a time...) So, I didn't run as much as usual in the 50-minute game, but at least some of the new additions are really good players.

Even though we lost (as expected) 11 to 3, I felt like I played well -- not as rusty as I expected to be after a three-week hiatus. We didn't have any subs (which is how I like it), so I got to run a lot.

I finally have time to exercise again, after a month of heavy work-related and holiday-related time constraints.

Unfortunately, if it's not arctic-cold outside, then there are 60 mph winds. If it's not windy, then there are ankle-deep puddles of snow melt and patches of ice to contend with. So I will endure indoor workouts for a while...
