Soccer (indoor) 30:00 [3]
slept:8.0 weight:122lbs

An indoor game with the usual embarrassingly lopsided score.

I stifled the urge to kick the ball directly at rib-cracker's face, even though I had a few good opportunities.

Unfortunately, the snow is back.

Perfect weather for lunchtime soccer...

* 30 minutes east: blizzard conditions and a 35-car pile up on I-70.
* Here: clear blue sky and mild temperatures. Wierd!

Trail run at Davidson Mesa. Lots of prairie dogs were out and about...

A great lunchtime game.

Soccer (outdoor) 45:00 [2]
slept:6.0 weight:121lbs

Lunchtime soccer outdoors again -- woo-hoo! It was a little muddy, but no snow. I didn't get to do much running since there was a big crowd.

Soccer intervals (indoor) 30:00 [3]

We lost the game, but by a smaller margin than usual. So it was almost like winning. Rib injury seems about 95% healed (sneezing and coughing are no longer excruciating).

I was too tired to cook by the time I got home (it was an 11pm game), so I had a beer and a few handfuls of chips/guacamole for "dinner". It was satisfying while I was doing it, but then I felt gross and regretful exactly one millisecond afterwards. Ugh!

Run / Hike tempo 35:59 [3] 3.1 mi (11:36 / mi)
slept:6.0 weight:124lbs

Trail run at Davidson Mesa -- my first outdoor jog since early December (with the super-slow pace to show it). Denver's 61-day streak of snow on the ground officially ended yesterday...thank goodness; I was over it about 58 days ago.

This trail was mostly dry except for a few patches of crusty snow and a ginormous puddle / pond of meltwater at the start of the main trail.

Rock Climbing intervals (indoor) 1:00:00 [3]
slept:10.0 weight:123lbs

A quick trip to the climbing gym before going to see Breach. 5.9, 5.9, 5.10-, 5.10-
Ribs still pretty painful....

Run / Hike 1 [3]

No activity this week...

Soccer intervals (indoor) 1:00:00 [3]
slept:8.0 weight:120lbs

Game #1: We had four subs, so I didn't get to do much running; it ended as a 13-6 loss.

Game #2: I subbed in for a friend's team that was short on players. I must have carried along Game #1's losing mojo...it was a 6-3 loss and I caught a very painful elbow in the ribs which makes it a bit difficult to inhale deeply.
