I had volunteered to lead the trail option of a social ride leaving from and finishing at a local taproom this evening...but I was the only MTBer who showed up; the other two road bikers were disinclined to ride because of the wind. So I dashed back home, changed shoes, shorts & headgear (helmet --> visor), and met up with my run group just a bit late.
