LoCO FIT breakfast run, starting from the golf course. I had 12 miles on my plan and I wanted to finish with the group, so I started ~one hour early.

I did an out-and-back on the Coal Creek trail towards Lafayette, met up with the group just after five miles, and then did another out-and back towards Superior on the Coal Creek / Singletree / Mayhoffer trails for the last seven miles.

I would have slowed my pace greatly in the last few miles, but I caught up with a few others who were at about 9:30 - 9:45 -- not too fast for me, and I could still keep up.

I resisted the urge to get pancakes for breakfast...had a yogurt / fruit / granola bowl & chai instead.

A chilly but beautiful morning! And now I hope I can rally for Sverre's o-training in Lakewood... :-P

In retrospect, maybe we should have gone the other way around the pond to #8 (we thought the short way would be too thick, but it probably wasn't).

Walked Sprint #2. Had my map upside down and made a 180-degree error leaving #2. DOH!
