Orienteering (Forrest) race 14:17 [5] *** 2.2 km (6:30 / km) +78m 5:31 / km

BOC Relays. Bad Race again. Got really confused about what control I was going to then tripped up then lost my compass and then got lost. What a nightmare.

Note

Pretty shocking British overall. Need to get fitter so I'm more confident I have enough time slow down when I need to.

BOC Long. Really bad race. Felt good physically but messed up sooo much.
#4. Went much to far to the right which resulted in more running and more climbing. should have slowed down and made sure it was right. 1 min Lost
#6. Too far to the right again. Just not slowing down enough again. 1min Lost
#7 Much to vague and so ended up wandering about being really unsure about where I was. Lost 90secs.
#10. Biggest mess-up of the course. Thought i was being clever by contouring round the hill when I should have just made it simpler and gone straight. got very confused and didnt have a clue where I was. About 4mins lost.
#16. wasn't accurate enough and overshot the control by 50 meters and had to run back up the hill. 30secs Lost.
Overall about 8mins lost from being scrappy. So sub 40 might actually have been possible.

Loughrig Fell 60min Score. Wasn't feeling much like a score so dad drew on a course and I ran it. Took it easy getting to the top so i could put in a bit more effort on the British type bit. Didn't take my watch and was quite a bit inside 60mins so I could have got them all.
