Orienteering (Forrest) race 31:05 [5] 5.05 km (6:09 / km) +225m 5:02 / km

JK Middle. 6th. Started off well, running quickly through 1 and 2. Tripped over some brambles and smashed my knee on a rock at #3. Had to walk for a fair bit to #4 because it completely seized up. Never quite felt as good again after but technically it was pretty sound apart from #16 where i became a bit lazy at is was fairly close to the end and just wandered about for a bit instead of looking at the map properly. Lost 1min. Rest was decent and was clean all the way to the finnish.

Midland Middle champs. Nav was pretty straight-forward. Took the running really easy, especially so after seeing Flurry coming out of the last loop not to far in front. Running felt okay but was feeling a bit sick- eating has been bit poor recently.

WCOC Sprint. Crow Park. Took the first half easy and then began to struggle technically round the golf course because it was getting pretty dark. Lost a fair bit more time in the woods because it was getting very dark by then and couldn't really see much.

Jarrett's Jaunt Fell Race.
Started 1min behind Niamh and 3 behind Ben. Caught about 30secs to Niamh on the first hill and went over the top almost with her. Caught her up on the descent and then ran with her for a couple of ks to the second hill. Thought it was only a short one so tried to power up it andgot a little gap on Niamh but it turned out to be much biggerthan previously thought so Niamh was back with me when it leveled back out. Bit of a grind up to the top of flat fell and was just ahead of Nimah over the summit. Saw Ben going down about a min in front and so pushed on to try and catch him. The road in the forrest was pretty icy to took it a bit easier down there. Caught ben as we reached the road. Then just foccused on running well back along to the finnish. Didnt get caught by Ali (9 1/2 mins) or Zac(5mins) so not too bad.
